A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA,
CALIFORNIA, INSTITUTING PROCEEDINGS
CONSIDERING THE PROPRIETY OF THE
PRESENT ZONING APPLICABLE TO THAT
PORTION OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA BOUNDED
BY DUARTE ROAD ON THE NORTH, BALDWIN
AVENUE ON THE EAST, GOLDEN WEST AVENUE
ON THE WEST AND THE PROPERTIES ABUTTING
CAMINO REAL ON THE SOUTH, AND FOR THE
PURPOSE OF RECEIVING EVIDENCE, CONSIDERING
AND MAKING RECOMMENDATIONS CONCERNING THE
RECLASSIFICATION OF ALL OR ANY PORTION
OF SAID PROPERTY.
THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA,
CALIFORNIA, DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1. That the public health, welfare and conven-
ience of the City of Arcadia and the inhabitants thereof require
the consideration of and the institution of proceedings for the pur-
pose of holding hearings, receiving evidence, considering and making
determinations and recommendations concerning the reclassification
to some more appropriate zone classification of that portion of the
City of Arcadia bounded by Duarte Road on the north, Baldwin Ave-
nue on the east, Golden West Avenue on the west and the properties
abutting Camino Real on the south as may be determined at the con-
clusion of such proceedings in accordance with the evidence presented
thereat.
SECTION 2. That Tuesday, the 9th day of November, 1965
at the hour of 8:00 o'clock p.m. in the Council Chamber of the City
~ Hall, 240 West Huntington Drive, Arcadia, California, is hereby
fixed and determined as the date, hour and place of a public hearing
for the consideration of said matters and for hearing and receiving
testimony and evidence pertaining thereto.

SECTION 3. The Secretary shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution and shall cause to be given notice of the date,
place and purpose of said hearing in the manner required by law.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was adopted
at a regular meeting of the City Planning Commission held on the
26th day of October, 1965, by the following vote:
AYES: Commissioners Ferguson, Golisch, Hanson, Lauber,
Parker and Kuyper
NOES: None
ABSENT: Commissioner Norton
