A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA,
CALIFORNIA, RECOMMENDING THE REPEAL
OF SECTIONS 9251.1.5 AND 9251.1.12,
THE AMENDMENT OF SECTIONS 9251.1.2,
9251.2.2, 9251.2.4 AND 9251.2.5 OF
THE ARCADIA MUNICIPAL CODE (R-O ZONE
REGULATIONS) AND THE AMENDMENT OF
DIVISION 2, PART 1 OF CHAPTER 1 OF
ARTICLE IX OF THE ARCADIA MUNICIPAL
CODE (SUBDIVISION LOT AREA REQUIREMENTS).
THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA,
CALIFORNIA, DOES DETERMINE AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That on April 13, 1965, the City Planning
~ Commission instituted proceedings for the purpose of holding hear-
ings, receiving evidence, considering and making recommendations
concerning the amendment of Division 1 of Part 5 of Chapter 2 of
Article IX of the Arcadia Municipal Code, dealing with uses per-
mitted in and regulations applicable under Zone R-O, First One-
Family Zone, pursuant to which a public hearing for such purposes
was scheduled for Tuesday, May 11, 1965, which hearing was then
held and was duly continued to May 25, 1965, and again continued
to June 8, 1965, June 22, 1965, July 13, 1965 and August 10, 1965,
at which times all interested persons were given full opportunity
to be heard and to present evidence.
SECTION 2. That as a result of said hearings and based

upon evidence and reports received and filed thereat, the City Plan-
ning Cornnission hereby recommends to the Arcadia City Council that
Sections 9251.1.5 and 9251.1.12 of the Arcadia Municipal Code be
repealed.
SECTION 3. That said City Planning Commission further
recommends to the Arcadia City Council that Sections 9251.1.2,
9251.2.2, 9251.2.4 and 9251.2.5 of the Arcadia Municipal Code be
amended to read respectively as follows:

9112.1. R-O ZONE 25,000. Every lot hereafter created,
established or altered in Zone R-O within the area north of Foot-
hill Boulevard westerly of Santa Anita Avenue, except that portion
thereof described in the next Section, shall contain a minimum lot
area of 25,000 square feet, a minimum lot width of one hundred (100)
feet at the front building line, and a minimum lot depth of one
hundred (100) feet.
9112.2. R-O
ZONE 15,000. Every lot hereafter created,

and Baldwin Avenue, or within the area south of Foothill Boule-
vard northerly of Huntington Drive and westerly of Santa Anita
Avenue shall contain a minimum lot area of 15,000 square feet, a
minimum lot width of one hundred (100) feet at the front building
line and a minimum lot depth of one hundred (100) feet.
9112.3. R-O ZONE 12,500. Every lot hereafter created,
established or altered in Zone R-O within the area southerly or
southeasterly of Huntington Drive shall contain a minimum lot area
of 12,500 square feet, a minimum lot width of one hundred (100)
feet at the front building line and a minimum lot depth of one
hundred (100) feet.
9112.4. R-l ZONE. Every lot hereafter created, estab-
lished or altered in Zone R-l shall contain a minimum lot area of
7,500 square feet and a minimum lot width of seventy-five (75)
~ feet at the front building line and a minimum lot depth of one
hundred (100) feet.
9112.5. R-2 ZONE. Every lot hereafter created, estab-
Ii shed or altered in Zone R-2 shall contain a minimum lot area of
7,500 square feet and a width of not less than seventy-five (75)
feet at the front building line.
