NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission will hold a public hearing
for a Conditional Use Permit application described below. The application includes the
following:
A. A Categorical Exemption from CEQA Pursuant to Section 15301(a) of the
CEQA Guidelines pertaining to the use of an existing facility; and
B. Conditional Use Permit No. CUP 23-03
Project Description: A Conditional Use Permit to allow for the operation of an after-
school education center with classes in robotics, Chinese language, and dancing,
acting, and modeling, with up to 18 students and 5 employees at 20 E. Foothill
Boulevard.

Persons wishing to comment on the project and/or environmental documents may do so at the public hearing or by submitting written statements
to Planning Services prior to the August 22, 2023 hearing. This notice was mailed on August 10, 2023. The staff report for this project will be
available on the City’s website at www.ArcadiaCA.gov after 4:30 PM on Friday, August 17, 2023. For more information you may also visit the
City’s website at www.ArcadiaCA.gov/noticesanddecisions. City Hall will be closed on Friday, August 11, 2023.
Per Government Code Section 65009 – If you challenge this project in court or in administrative hearing, you may be limited to raising only those
issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the City of Arcadia, or
prior to the public hearing.
In compliance with the American with Disabilities Act, if you need special assistance to participate in this meeting, please contact Planning Services
