RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PIJ\.NNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA., CALIFORNIA, RECOMMENDING THE RECLASSIFICATION FROM ZONE C-2 TO ZONE C-1 AND TO ZONE D OF THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF DUARTE ROAD AND GOLDEN WEST AVENUE IN SAID CITY. vniEREAS, pursuant to Division 3 of Part 9 of Chapter 2 of Article IX of the Arcadia Municipal Code, the City Planning Commission of the City of Arcadia did, on its own motion by Resolution No. 521 adopted July 14, 1964, institute proceedings for the purpose of con- sidering and making recommendations concerning the classification to . Zone C-l and to Zone D (Architectural Overlay) of property located at the southeast corner of Duarte Road and Golden West Avenue, pursuant to which notice was duly published and given and a publiC hearing duly held on the 11th day of August, 1964, at which time all interested persons were given a full opportunity to be heard and to present evi- dence; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF J\.RCADIA, CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY FIND, DETERMINE AND RECOJVlMEND AS FOLLOflS : . SECTION 1. That the public necessity, convenience and general welfare and good zoning practice justify and require, and this Commission hereby recomnlends to the City Council of the City of Arcadia the reclassification to Zone C-1 and to Zone D (Architectural Overlay) that portion of the City of Arcadia, County of Los Angeles, state of California, knovm as 860, 868 and 872 West Duarte Road and more speci- fically described as follows: That portion of the northerly 100 feet of the westerly 100 feet of the westerly 125.43 feet of Lot 2 of Block "A", Santa Anita Land Company's Pumping Plant No.1 Tract per map recorded in Book 10, page 183, of Maps in the office of the County Recorder of said County; -1- 531 ..~ """". , - ' . . . with the following conditions to be imposed under such Zone D: 1. That the property be used in the manner shown on the plot plan depicting the development of the area. 2. That the Zone change shall not become effective until final plans for the entire project are submitted to this Commission and approved. SECTION 3. That the within recommendation is conditioned upon the similar reclassification and restriction of the property described in and substantially as recommended in Resolution No. 525 of this Commission. SECTION 4. The Secretary shall certify to the adoption of ~ this Resolution and shall cause a copy of the same to be forwarded to the City Council of the City of Arcadia.
