RESOLUTION NO. 521
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA,
CALIFORNIA, INSTITUTING PROCEEDINGS
FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONSIDERING AND
MAKING RECOMJviENDATIONS CONCERNING
THE RECLASSIFICATION FROM ZONE C-2
TO ZONE C-l AND TO ZONE D OF THE
PROPERTY LOCATED AT THE SOUTHEAST
CORNER OF DUARTE ROAD AND GOLDEN
'.!EST AVENUE IN SAID CITY.
THE CITY PLANNING COI'JlIIISSION OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, CALI-
FORNIA, DOES HEREBY FIND, DETERNINE AND RESOLVE AS FOLLO;/S:
SECTION 1. That the publiC health, welfare and convenience
of the City of Arcadia and the inhabitants thereof require the consid-
eration of and the institution of proceedings for the purpose of hold-
. ing hearin~s, considering and making findings and recommendations con-
cerninG the reclassification from Zone C-2 to Zone C-l and to Zone D
(Architectural Overlay) of the property looated at the southeast corner
of Duarte Road and Golden I',est Avenue known as 860, 808 and 872 ".est
Duarte Road, Arcadia, California, described as folloW3:
That portion of the northerly 100 feet of the
\/esterly 125.43 feet of Lot 2 of Block "A",
Santa Anita Land Company's Pilll~inB Plant No.1
Tract per map recorded in Book 10, page 183, of
Naps in the office of the County Reoorder of
Los Angeles County;
presently classified in Zone C-2.
SECTION 2. That Tues~ay, the lIth day of August, 1904, at

the hour of 8:00 o'clock p.m. in the Council Chamber of the City Hall,
240 t1est Huntington Drive, Arcadia, California, is 11ereby fixed and
~ detennined as the date, hour and place of a public hearing for the con-
sideration of said matters and for hearing and receiving testimony and
evidence pertaining thereto.

. SECTION 3. The Secretary shall certify to the adoption of
this resolution and shall cause to be given notice of the date, place
and purpose of said hearing in the manner required by law.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was adopted
at a regular meeting of the City Planning Co@nission held on the 14th
day of July, 1964, by the following vote:
AYES: Commissioners Ferguson, GOlisch, Hanson, Parker,
Turner and Kuyper
NOES: None
ABSENT: Commissioner Norton
