A RESOLUTION OF Ttlli CITY PLANNING
CO~MISSION OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA,
CALIFOm~IA, INSTITUTING PROCEEDINGS
FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONSIDERING AND
!>lAKING RECOMI'lJENDATIONS CONCERNING THE
RECLASSIFICATION FOR 20NING PURPOSES
OF PROPERTIES LOCATED NORTH OF
FOOTHILL BOULEVARD AND EAST OF SANTA
ANITA WASH, IN THE CITY OF ARCADIA.
THE CITY PLANNING cOruv~SSION OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA,
C1\LIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY FIND, DETERMINE AND RESOLVE AS FOLL01'lS:
SECTION 1. That the publiC health, welfare and convenience
of the City of Arcadia and the inhabitants thereof require the con-
sideration of and the institutio~ of proceedings for the purpose of
holdinG hearings, considering anc. making findine;s and recommendations

concerning the reclassification for zonint; purposes to some other
com~ercial or residential classification, including 60ne D (Archi-
tecturalOverlay) and ~one P (Automobile Parking), of the follo~inG
described property:
Parcell. Property bounded on the west by the
Santa Anita tfash, on the t;outh by Foothill
Boulevard, on the east by Second Avenue, and on
the north by Sycamore Avenue.
Parcel 2. Property bounded on the west by
Second Avenue, on the east by the easterly
boundary of the City of Arcadia, on the south
by Foothill Boulevard, and on the north by a
line parallel with and 305 feet north of the
northerly line of Foothill Boulevard.
SECTION 2. That Tuesday, the . 9th day of ~., 1964 at the
hour of 8:00 o'cloclr p.m. in the Council Chamber of the City Hall,
240 West Huntington Drive, Arcadia, California, is hereby fixed and
... detennined as the date, hour and place of a public hearing for the
consideration of said matters and for hearins and receiving testimony
and evidence pertaining thereto.
SECTION 3. The Secretary shall certify to the adoption of
this resolution and shall cause to be
given. notice of the date,
place and purpose of said hearing in the manner required by law.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was adopted at
a regular meeting of the City Planning Commission held on the ~.6:th day
of May, 1964, by the following vote:
AYES: Commissioners GOlisch, Hanson, Kuyper, Parker,
Turner and Ferguson
NOES: None
ABSENT: Commissioner Norton
