RESOLUTION NO. 928
.
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA RECOMMENDING
APPROVAL OF ANNEXATION NO. 44 (MAYFLOWER
AREA) .
WHEREAS, the City Council has referred to the Planning
Commission the matter of Annexation No. 44 (Mayflower Area) for
report or recommendation pursuant to Section 35108 of the Govern-
ment Code: and
WHEREAS, after discussion and'deli~eration, the Planning
Commission concludes that said annexation is desirable in order to
eliminate jurisdictional problems posed by four residential lots
that are now divided between the City of Arcadia and the County of
Los Angeles, and to provide a logical easterly boundary for the City
of Arcadia, and in order to provide homogeneity in zoning and
municipal services to all areas which, by reason of geographical
location, are entitled to such compatible service:
NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
ARCADIA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The Planning Commission hereby recommends
to the City Council the. approval of Annexation No. 44 (Mayflower
Area) .
SECTION 2. The Secretary shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was
adopted at a regular meeting of the Planning Commission of the

ing vote:
