RESOLUTION NO.. 914
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA RECOMMENDING A
ZONE CHANGE FROM R-2 TO R-l AT 360-380
CAMPUS DRIVE.
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on October 14, 1975,
for the purpose of considering changing the zone from R-2 (two-
family zone) to R-l (second one-family zone) on the property
located at 360-380 Campus Drive, 'more particularly described as
follows:
That portion of Holy Angels School property presently
zoned R-2 legally known as that portion of Tract No.
2828 as shown on Map recorded in Book 33, Page 63 of
Maps, that portion of former right-of-way of Southern
Pacific Railroad, that portion of Lot 3, Tract No. 950
as shown on Map recorded in Book 17, Page 25 of Maps
and that portion of Tract 2409 as shown on Map recorded
in Book 23, Page 23 of Maps in the Qffice of the Re-
corder of Los Angeles County described as follows:
Beginning at the northwest corner of Lot 31, Tract No.
2828, thence southerly 395.75 feet ina~traight line
along the easterly line of Holly Avenue as shown on
said Tract No. 2828, and the southerly projection of
said easterly line; thence easterly 631.52 feet along
~ line parallel with the north line of Ttact 10726 aj
shown on Map recorded in Book 185, Page 32 of Maps in
the Office of the Recorder of Los Angeles County;
thence northerly along the northerly prolongation of
the easterly line of said Tract 10726 to the southerly
line of Campus Drive 75 feet wide; thence northwesterly
along said southerly line of Campus Drive to its inter-
section with the abovementioned easterly line of Holly;
thence northerly along said easterly line of Holly to
the point of beginning excepting therefrom that por-
tion of abovedescribed land lying within the rights of
way of Holly Avenue and/or Campus Drive.

WHEREAS, all interested persons were given full oppor-
tunity to be heard and to present evidence;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
ARCADIA HEREBY DETERMINES AND RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The subject area consists of the Holy Angels
rectory, church and school. Property to the east is zoned R-l and
developed with the Holy Angels convent and single family residences;
properties to the south are zoned R-1 and developed with parking
for the church and school, a playground area and single family
dwellings. Properties to the wes t across Holly Avenue are zoned
R-3 and developed with a single family dwelling and other mixed
residential uses and a convalescent facility; and properties to the
north across Campus Drive are zoned S-2 and developed with the
Arcadia County Park Rose Garden.
SECTION 2. The Planning ,Commission recommends to the
City Council that the zoning on the above described property be
changed from R-2 to R-1.
SECTION 3, That the Planning Commission finds that the
proposed change would provide uniform zoning within the area, would
bring the zoning into conf.o.rmance with the General Plan, and that
the public convenience, necessity and general welfare justify the
above zone change.
SECTION 4. The Secretary shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was adopted
at a regular meeting of the Planning Commission of the City of
Arcadia on the 28th day of October, 1975, by the following vote:
