A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA GRANTING A tONE VARIANCE FOR THE EXPANSION OF AN EXISTING DWELLING LOCATED AT 150 EAST CAMINO REAL AVENUE. WHEREAS, on August 11, 1975, Donna H. Striker filed an application for expansion of an existing single family dwelling; Planning Department Case No. V-75-2, on the property commonly known as 150 East. Camino Real Avenue, more particularly described as follows: Th~ westerly 85 feet. of t.he northerly 260.5 feet of the east.er1y 267.55 feet of lot 24 of Arcadia Acreage Tract., in t.he City of Arcadia, County of Los Angeles, State of . California, as per map recorded in Book In, page ~8, of maps, in the office of the County Recorde,r of said County. WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on said matter on August 26, 1975, at which time all interested persons were given full opportunity to be heard and to present ev,idence. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the fa,ctual data submitted by the Planning Department in t.he attached staff report is true'and correct. SECTION 2. This commission finds that: 1. That there are exceptional or'extraordinary circumstances or conditions applicable to the property involved, or to the intended use of the property, that do not apply generally to the property or . class of use in the same zone or vicinity. -1- 910 t' . . . 2. That the granting of such variance will not be materially . detrimental to the public health or welfare or injurious to the prop,erty or improvements in such zone or vicinity in which the property is located. 3. That such variance is necessary for the preservation and enjoyment of a substantial property right of the applicant possessed by other property in the same zone or vicinity. 4. That the granting of such variance will not adversely affect the comprehensive general plan. SECTION 3. That for the foregoing reasons, subject to approval of the City Council, this Commission grants a zone variance for a I single family dwelling upon the following conditions: " a guest house or removing the structure on or before 20 years from the date of the adoption of this resolution. SECTION 4. The Secretary shall certify to the adoption of this resolution and shall cause a copy to be forwarded to the City Council of the City of Arcadia.
