RESOLUTION NO. 880 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR AN AU~O BODY SHOP AT 412 NORTH FIRST AVENUE. WHEREAS, on January 10, -,1975, Frank A. Carano filed an application for an auto body shop, Planning Department Case No. C.U.P. 75-1, on the property conunonly known as 4'12 North First Avenue, more particularly described as follows: Lot 3 of Block 83, Arcadia Santa Anita Tract, except the westerly 10 feet for widening of First Avenue, Map Book 15, Page 8 90f Maps" in the City of Arcadia, County of Los Angeles, State of California. WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on said matter on . January 28, 1975, at which time all interested persons 'were given full opportunity to be heard and to present evidence; NOW, THEREFORE,THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the factual data submitted by the Plan- ning Department in the attached staff report is true and 'correct. SECTION 2. This Commission finds that: 1. The granting of a conditional use' permit ,as herein- after provided will not be detrimental to the public health or welfare or injurious to the property or improvements in such zon~ or vicinity. -1- 880 . . . . ~. . . 2. The use applied for at the location indicated is properly one for which a conditional use permit i:s'authorized. 3. The site for the proposed use is adequate in size and shape to accommodate said use, including all yards, parking, loading, landscaping and other features' 'required to adjust said use with the land and uses in the neig~borhood. 4. The site abuts streets and highways adequate in width ,and pavement type to carry the kind of traffic generated by the proposed use. 5. The granting of such conditional use permit will not adversely affect the General Plan. 6.. The use applied for will not have a substantial adverse impact on the environment. SECTION 3. That for the foregoing reasons.. subject to approval of the City Council, this Commission grants 'a"conditional use permit for an auto body shop upon the fOllowing conditions: 1. The property shall' be improved and maintained in accordance with the plans which are on file in' the subject Case No. C. u. P. 75-1. 2. That all vehicles or other work on the site for auto body work be stored and repaired inside the building. 3. The noise level shall conform' to all performance standards of the M-l Planned Industrial District zone. 4. That the conditional use permit be reviewed on a yearly basis by the Arcadia Building Division. -2- 880 . . . '.' , . . 5. That any additional mechanical equipment or vents installed in the building or on the roof be completely screened from public view. 6. That fire protection shall -be prov1,ded~to the' satisfac- tion of the Fire Chief. 7. That all conditions of C.U.P'. 74-1 be complied with as approved by the Planning Commission. SECTION 4. The Secretary shall certify to the adoption of this resolution and shall cause a copy to be forwarded 'to the City Council of the City of Arcadia. I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was adopted at a regular meeting of the Planning Commission held on the 11th day of February, 1975, by the following vote.
