RESOLUTION NO. 871 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, RECOMMENDING A DENIAL OF A ZONE CHANGE FROM R-3 ':['0 R-2 AT 713-803 WEST CAMINO REAL AVENUE. WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on October 29, 1974, for the purpose of considering changing the zone from R-3 to R-2 on the property located at 713-803 West Camino Real Avenue which is presently zoned R-3, more partic,ularly described on attached "Exhibit A". WHEREAS, all interested persons were given full opportunity to be heard and to present evidence; . NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA HEREBY DETERMINES AND RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Subject property is developed with multi- fami.ly residential uses and zoned R-3;' the prQperties to the north are zoned R-3 and C-2 and are develQped with mixed resi- dential and commercial uses; the properties to the east are zQned C-Q and C-2 and are vacant or are developed with mixed commercial uses; the properties to the south are zoned R-2 and R-3 and are vacant or developed with multiple single family dwelling units; the properties tQ the west are zoned R-2 and developed with multiple single family dwelling units. SECTION 2. This CommissiQn finds that the proposed zone change is not justified by either public necessity, . -1- 871 " , . . . convenience, general welfare or gOGd zoning practice, and, therefore, recommends to the City Council that said property not be rezoned. SECTION 3. The Secretary shall certify to the adoption of this resolution and shall cause a copy to be forwarded to the City Council of the City of Arcadia.
