RESOLUTION NO. 804
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA RECOMMENDING
CERTAIN CHANGES IN THE GENERAL PLAN
RELATING TO PROPERTY ON NAOMI AVENUE
BETWEEN BALDWIN A VENUE AND LOVELL AVENUE.
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on January 9, 1973,
for the purpose of considering a change in the General Plan on
certain property adjacent to Naomi Avenue between Baldwin Avenue
and Lovell Avenue, which property is shown in the current General
Plan as Planned Commercialj and
WHEREAS, all interested persons were given full oppor-

tunity to be heard and to present evidence.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission
makes the following recommendations and finds as follows:
SECTION 1. That said property on the north side of
Naomi Avenue shown in the General Plan as Planned Commercial should

be reclassified and shown as Commercial Office and that said property
on the south side of Naomi Avenue shown in the General Plan as
Planned Commercial should be reclassified and shown as High Density
Residential.

SECTION 2. The Planning Commission .finds that said
property will not be developed as Planned Commercial and that if the
present classification is retained the property will tend to
stagnatej that reclassification to Commercial Office and High
Density Residential wl11create an incentive to upgrade the neigh~
borhood replacing many of the very old' existing improvementsj and
that the public convenience, necessity and general welfare justify
the proposed changes.

SECTION 3. The Secretary shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was adopted
at a regular meeting of the Planning Commission of the City of
Arcadia held on the 23
