Notice of Pending Decision—Major AM 23-09
NOTICE OF PENDING DECISION IS HEREBY GIVEN that the property owner of the
subject property is requesting a Major Administrative Modification. You have the opportunity
to comment on the project prior to the City making a decision on the project described
below:
A. Categorical Exemption per Sections 15301 and 15305 from the California
Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) for the construction of an accessory structure
and minor alteration in land use limitations; and
B. Major Administrative Modification No. Major AM 23-09
Project Description: A modification request to allow a 1,329 square foot addition to an
existing garage to have a rear yard setback ranging from 14’-1” to 16’-0” in lieu of the
required 35’-0” rear yard setback, as it would be attached to the main house via a proposed
covered breezeway. The design of the addition to the garage was reviewed and approved
by the Rancho Santa Anita Residents’ Association.
Required Rear Yard Setback: 35’-0”
Proposed Rear Yard Setback: 14’-1” to 16’-0”
Comment Period: October 6, 2023 to October 20, 2023 by 4:30 PM
