PUBLIC HEARING MC 09-06 630 E. Live Oak Avenue Peruzzi Architects (Architect Representing Owner, Church in Arcadia) Approved 3-0 Garcia, Kruckeberg, Parrille The applicant requests a permit fora 2'-0" southerly side yard setback in lieu of 8'-6" minimum required to convert anon- permitted 327 square-foot detached storage building into a pool house. The applicant requests a 343 square-foot single-story addition to an existing single-family residence that requires the following applications: 1. Modification to allow a 5'-0" northerly side yazd setback in lieu of 10'-0" required. 2. Architectural Design Review. The applicant requests the following modifications and azchitectural design review to rebuild an existing 2,418 square-foot one-story, single-family residence fora 1,435 square-foot addition to the main dwelling and a new 600 square-foot detached pool house: 1. A 6'-3" to 7'-11" westerly side yard setback in lieu of 8'- 0" required for an existing portion of the main dwelling. 2. A 3'-0" easterly side yard setback in lieu of 8'-0" required for an existing two-car garage. 3. An 18'-4" width in lieu of 20'-0" required for an existing two-car garage. The applicant requests a parking modification to allow 22 tandem spaces (vehicles placed one behind the other) in lieu of the standard spaces (vehicles located side by side). Even with the change to the parking configuration, the parking lot will still provide 84 spaces as required for the new church (CUP 07-12). There is a five working day appeal period. Appeals are to be filed by 5:30 p.m. on Apri121, 2009. Any writings or documents provided m a majority of the Modification Committee members regarding any item on this agenda will be made available for public inspection in the Planning Services office at City Hall, 240 W. Huntington Ik, Arcadia, CA 91007, (626) 574-5423. 5. PUBLIC HEARING MC 09-07 1199 Rancho Rd. Baryor Pithawalla Approved 3-0 subject to the condition that no frnal approval will be granted from the Building Division until the Ci 's Code Enforcement Department evaluates and verifies if there is am potential glare and the illuminations of the applicant's proper, complp with the Citv's regulations. The applicant requests a modification to permit an 11'-4" easterly side yard setback in lieu of 19'-0" required to legalize the 376 square-foot gazage conversion into a game room located at the southeast corner of the residence.
