NOTICE OF PENDING DECISION IS HEREBY GIVEN that the owner of the subject property is
requesting a Single-Story Architectural Design Review and a Major Administrative Modification in for
the construction of a single-story, 1,448 square foot addition to an existing single-story residence.
You have the opportunity to comment on the project prior to the City making a decision on the
project described below:
A. Categorical Exemption per Sections 15301(e)(1) and 15305(a) of the California
Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines for an addition to an existing structure and
minor adjustments to the street side setback; and
B. Single-Story Architectural Design Review No. SSADR 24-13 and Major Administrative
Modification No. Major AM 24-04
Project Description: The applicant is proposing a single-story, 1,448 square foot addition to an
existing single-story home located at 201 E. Colorado Blvd. A modification is also requested for the
proposed addition to have a street side setback of 15 feet in lieu of the required 20-foot street side
setback. The addition complies with all other applicable development standards.
Existing Residence Size (excluding garage): 960 square feet
Proposed Addition Size: 1,448 square feet
Required Street Side Setback: 20’-0”
Proposed Street Side Setback: 15’-0”
Comment Period: Monday, May 20, 2024 to Monday, June 3, 2024 by 5:30 PM
