proposing to build a new single-family residence that is subject to the City’s Single-Family
Architectural Design Review process. You have the opportunity to provide comments prior to the
City making a decision on the project described below:
A. Categorical Exemption per Section 15303 (New Construction) from the California
Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) for the new construction of one single-family
dwelling.
B. Single-Family Architectural Design Review No. SFADR 24-01
Project Description: The applicant is proposing to construct a new 3,375 square foot, two-story,
Prairie-style single family residence. The residence will have an attached 434 square foot two-car
garage and 29 square feet of covered front porch area.
Lot Size: 7,714 square feet.
Existing Building Size (excluding the garage): 995 square feet.
New Building Size (excluding garage): 3,375 square feet.
Floor Area Ratio Proposed: 3,442 square feet (44.6%)
Floor Area Ratio Allowed: 3,471 square feet (44.9%)
Comment Period: June 20, 2024 to July 5, 2024 at 4:30 PM
