property is proposing a 332 square-foot loft space above the two-car garage by converting it into a
habitable room. The existing one-story single-family residence is subject to the City’s Single-Family
Architectural Design Review process. You have the opportunity to provide comments prior to the
City making a decision on the project described below:
A. Categorical Exemption per Section 15303(e) of the California Environmental Quality Act
(CEQA) for additions to existing structures; and
B. Single-Family Architectural Design Review No. SFADR 24-17
Project Description: The applicant is proposing to convert a 332 square-foot loft space above the
two-car garage into an additional habitable room within an existing one-story single-family residence.
No changes to the home’s exterior are proposed.
Lot Size: 14,550 square feet.
Existing Home Size (excluding the garage): 2,752 square feet.
Existing Garage Size: 472 square feet.
Proposed Loft/Room Size: 332 square feet
Comment Period: October 3, 2024 to October 17, 2024, by 5:30 PM
