NOTICE OF PENDING DECISION IS HEREBY GIVEN that a tenant of the
subject property is requesting a Minor Use Permit to expand an existing small
health/fitness facility. You have the opportunity to comment on the project
prior to the City making a decision on the project described below:
A. Categorical Exemption per Section 15301 from the California
Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) for the use of an existing facility,
such as the existing tenant space in an existing multitenant
commercial building; and
B. Minor Use Permit No. MUP 24-13
Project Description: A Minor Use Permit to allow an existing fitness facility
(d.b.a. Sofit Socal) located at 8 E. Duarte Road. to expand into the adjacent
unit located at 12 E. Duarte Road. The fitness facility offers individual and
small group personal training sessions. The business hours would be 7:00 AM
to 9:00 PM, everyday.
Comment Period: January 23, 2025 to February 6, 2025 at 5:30 PM
