NOTICE OF PENDING DECISION IS HEREBY GIVEN that the owner of the
subject property is requesting to retroactively remove one (1) protected tree.
You have the opportunity to comment on the project described below prior to
the City making a decision.
A.California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Section 15061(b)(3) the
removal of a protected tree would not adversely change the
environment.
B.Healthy Tree Removal Application No. TRH 24-10
Project Description: The Applicant is requesting to remove one (1) mature
protected Chinese Elm located in the rear yard of the property. The Applicant
is requesting to remove the tree because of safety concerns with its proximity
to the subject property and neighboring properties, and due to an inability to
get property insurance due to the size and location of the tree. The protected
tree removal may be mitigated with the planting of two, 24-inch box trees on
the property.
Comment Period: February 10, 2025 to February 24, 2025 at 5:30 PM
