HomeMy WebLinkAboutNoticeNOTICE OF PENDING DECISION IS HEREBY GIVEN that the property owner of the subject property is proposing a first and second story addition and remodel which includes the continuation of an existing, non -conforming side yard setback for a length of 32’-10”, and a new Prairie architectural style, which is subject to the City’s Single-Family Architectural Design Review process. You have the opportunity to provide comments prior to the City making a decision on the project described below: A. Categorical Exemption per Section 15303(e) of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) for additions to existing structures and Section 15305(a) for minor alterations in land use limitations; and B. Single-Family Architectural Design Review No. SFADR 24-05 and Major Administrative Modification No. Major AM 24-12 Project Description: The applicant proposes to remodel the existing two-story single-family residence, and include a 365 square foot first-story addition to the front of the residence, a 1,211 square foot first- story addition at the rear, and an 823 square foot second-story addition to the side and rear of the home. The remodel also includes a new 40 square foot front entry porch and a 98 square foot rear patio will also be added. The project maintains a non-conforming side yard setback of 4'-4" for a total length of 32'-10"— 15 feet at the front of the house and 17'-10" at the rear whereas a minimum 6’-0” side-yard setback is required. The existing garage and attached storage room will be reduced in size by approximately 72 square feet to 1,179 square feet. Additionally, the architectural style will be updated to Prairie.
