subject property is proposing to build a new, two -story residence subject to the City’s
Single- Family Architectural Design Review process. You have the opportunity to
comment on the project prior to the City making a decision on the project described
below:
A. Categorical Exemption per Section 15303 from the California Environmental
Quality Act (CEQA) for the new construction of one single -family dwelling;
and
B. Single-Family Design Review No. SFADR No. 24-24
Project Description: The project includes a new 4,981 square foot, two-story, Prairie-
style single-family residence with an attached 650 square foot, three -car garage. The
project also includes an 800 square foot detached accessory dwelling unit (ADU) that
is exempt from this Single Family Architectural Design Review No. SFADR 24 -24.
Lot Size: 12, 618.85 square feet
New Building Size (excluding the garage): 4,981 square feet
Floor Area Ratio Proposed: 5,263 square feet (42%)
Floor Area Ratio Allowed: 5,547 square feet (44%)
Comment Period: Monday, March 24, 2024 to Monday, April 7, 2025 at 5:30 PM.
