HomeMy WebLinkAboutNoticeNotice of Pending Decision: Major AM 25-01 NOTICE OF PENDING DECISION IS HEREBY GIVEN that the owner of the subject property is requesting a Major Administrative Modification to continue an existing, non-conforming setback and increase the height of the non-conforming wall as part of a single-family remodel and addition. You have the opportunity to comment on the project prior to the City making a decision on the project described below: A. Categorical Exemption per Section 15301(e)(1) from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) for an addition to an existing structure; and B. Major Administrative Modification No. Major AM 25-01 Project Description: The Applicant is requesting to make changes to the existing, non- conforming eastern wall of the house as part of project to remodel the residence and add 242 square feet to the rear. The wall has an existing side-yard setback of 4’-7” whereas a setback of 6’-6” is required. The wall is proposed to increase in length by 4’-9”, and for the plate height to increase by one (1) foot from 8’-0” to 9’-0”. This modification will create an appropriate improvement of the corner lot.
