ABBREVATIONS
The ground immediately adjacent to the foundation shall be sloped away
from the building at a slope of not less than one unit vertical in 20 units
horizontal (5% slope) for a minimum distance of 10 feet measured
perpendicular to the face of the wall.
Impervious surfaces within 10 feet of the building foundation shall be
sloped a minimum of 2 percent away from the building.
Projects requiring CALGreen code compliance must recycle and/or salvage
for reuse a minimum of 65% of the non-hazardous construction and
demolition waste in accordance with the CALGreen Code Sections
4.408.1 and 5.408.1.
Plumbing fixtures shall comply with water conservation flow rates:
showerheads- 1.8 gpm,
lavatory faucets- 1.2 gpm,
kitchen faucets- 1.8 gpm,
water closets- 1.28 gpf.
GENERAL NOTES:
1.Do not scale drawings. Contractors shall verify all conditions and
dimensions at job site. If any discrepancies are found, the designer
shall be notified.
2.All information shown on the drawings relative to existing conditions is
given as best possible, but without guarantee of accuracy. Where
actual conditions conflict with the drawing, they shall be reported to
the architect so that the proper revisions may be made. Modifications
of details of construction shall not be made without written approval
of the designer.

ELECTRICAL NOTES:
1.All installed luminaires shall be high-efficacy in accordance with ES TABLE 150.0-A
a.Luminaries must have a label certified for airtight construction
b.Light sources that are not marked “JA8-2016/2019/2022-E” shall not be installed in enclosed luminaires. ES 150.0(k)
2.Lighting fixtures that are attached to a building are required to be high efficacy be manually on/off switch controlled, and have both motion
sensor and photocell control.
3.There will be a minimum of 2 small appliance branch circuits within the locations specified in Article 210.52(B), i.e., kitchen and dining areas.
4.Bathroom circuiting shall be either:
a.A 20-ampere circuit dedicated to each bathroom, or
b.At least one 20 ampere circuit supplying only bathroom receptacle outlets.
5.A dedicated 240 volt branch circuit wiring shall be installed within 3 feet from the cooktop and accessible to the cooktop with no
obstructions. The branch circuit conductors shall be rated at 50 amps minimum. The blank cover shall be identified as "240V ready." All
electrical components shall be installed in accordance with the California Electrical Code.

6.A dedicated 240 volt branch circuit wiring shall be installed within 3 feet from the clothes dryer location and accessible to the clothes
dryer location with no obstructions. The branch circuit conductors shall be rated at 30 amps minimum. The blank cover shall be identified as
"240V ready." All electrical components shall be installed in accordance with the California Electrical Code.

7.Title-24 Energy Requirements: add these notes on plan
•A minimum of 50% of the luminaries in a kitchen must be fluorescent or high efficacy.
•Bathrooms, Garages, laundry or utility rooms, and CLOSET must have fluorescent or high
efficacy lighting, AND at least one luminaire in each of these spaces must be controlled by a vacancy sensor.
•Bedrooms, living rooms, family rooms, kitchen and other rooms used for living and sleeping must have fluorescent or high efficacy lighting,
or an occupant sensor, AND dimmers must be installed.
•Exterior lighting must be fluorescent or high efficacy, or an occupant senor with an integral photo control may be installed.
8.A minimum of four branch circuits shall be identified and have their source of supply collocated at a single panelboard suitable to be supplied
by the ESS. At least one circuit shall supply the refrigerator, one lighting circuit shall be located near the primary egress and at least one
circuit shall supply a sleeping room receptacle outlet.
9.Recessed can light fixtures shall be IC listed, air-tight labeled, and not be equipped with a standard medium base screw shell lamp holder.
10.SFD outdoor lighting fixtures that are attached to a building are required to be high efficacy, be manually on/ off switch controlled, and have
both motion sensor and photocell control.
11.Garage shall have automatic garage door opener with battery back-up. [Brand: LiftMaster |Listing: UL325]
ELECTRIC COOKTOPS/CLOTHES DRYERS/HEATERS READY.
Systems using gas or propane to serve individual dwelling for each of the following items shall include the following(ES150.0(t)(u)(v):

Basements, habitable attics and every sleeping room shall have
