to build a new single-family, two-story Contemporary style residence that is subject to the City’s Single-
Family Architectural Design Review process. The Project also includes a detached ADU which is not
subject to discretionary design review. You have the opportunity to provide comments prior to the City
making a decision on the project described below:
A. Categorical Exemption per Section 15303(a) from the California Environmental Quality Act
(CEQA) for the new construction of one, single-family dwelling.
B. Single-Family Architectural Design Review No. SFADR 24-08
Project Description: The applicant is proposing a new 4,714 square foot, single-family, two-story,
Contemporary style residence. The residence will have an attached 711 square foot three-car garage and
a 72 square foot front porch.
Lot Size: 15,776 square feet
Existing Building Size (excluding the garage): 1,650 square feet
New Building Size (excluding the garage): 4,714 square feet
Floor Area Ratio Proposed: 5,025 square feet (31.8%)
Floor Area Ratio Allowed: 6,732 square feet (42.6%)
Comment Period: May 23, 2025 to June 6, 2025, by 5:30 PM
