b. 2025 Health Fair
On Wednesday, March 5, 2025, the Health Committee met and confirmed the 2025 Health Fair
will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025, from gam to 1 pm at the Arcadia Community
Center. The Committee agreed that lunch should be provided to every person or agency who
reserves a booth to avoid turning people away. The Committee agreed to limit the number of
speakers and to have only one Keynote Speaker at the event as the public is eager to get to their
screenings and information booths. The Committee suggested there should be signage directing
the public to available parking locations and also include the parking locations information on the
flyer.
Mayor Cao and Council Member Eileen Wang asked everyone to think of who they should invite
to the Health Fair as the guest keynote speaker and also to begin the preparation of the
sponsorship letters. The Committee agreed to have a maximum of 30 minutes for the guest
keynote speaker's speech. Sara Somogyi said she will work on preparing the sponsor letter and
asked if sponsor organizations should only be health related. It was agreed by the Committee that
any organization can be a sponsor, they do not have to be health related. Dr. Feng confirmed
there will be 500 flu vaccines donated and administered by Kaiser Permanente.
