you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described
in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the [ARB Chairperson Name], at or prior to the
public hearing.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Santa Anita Oaks Architectural Review Board
(ARB) will hold a public hearing for the project described below. The project includes the
following:
A. A Categorical Exemption from California Environmental Quality Act Pursuant to
Section 15XXX for [exemption description]; and
PROJECT ADDRESS: 1436 Carmelita Place, Arcadia CA
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: A new 4428 square foot, four bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, one-
story, ranch style residence, with detached existing 2 cars garage.
Lot Size: 31363 sq. ft.
Existing Building Size (excluding the garage): 3155 sq. ft.
New Building Size (excluding the garage): 4428 sq. ft.
Floor Area Ratio Proposed: 4428 sq. ft. and 14.12%
Floor Area Ratio Allowed: 9695 sq. ft. and 30.9%
APPLICANT: Zhao Chen
HEARING DATE AND TIME: June 23, 2025 at 5:30 pm
PLACE OF HEARING: 1433 Carmelita Place, Arcadia CA
