Notice of Pending Decision—SSADR 25-07 & Major AM 25-06
NOTICE OF PENDING DECISION IS HEREBY GIVEN that the owner of the subject
property is requesting a Single-Story Architectural Design Review and a Major
Administrative Modification in for the construction of a single-story, 908 square foot
addition to an existing single-story residence and an increase in height of an existing non-
conforming wall. You have the opportunity to comment on the project prior to the City
making a decision on the project described below:
A.Categorical Exemption per Section 15301(e)(1) of the California Environmental
Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines for an addition to an existing structure; and
B.Single-Story Architectural Design Review No. SSADR 25-07 and Major
Administrative Modification No. Major AM 25-06
Project Description: The Applicant is proposing to remodel and update the exterior of an
existing single-story home and include a new 908 square foot, single story addition at the
rear of the house. As part of the project, the Applicant is requesting a modification to
increase the height of a portion of an existing wall that is located 3’-10” from the side
property line—less than the current required setback of five (5) feet. The proposed change
would raise the height of this wall by 2 feet, so that it matches the rest of the house’s
existing plate height of 8 feet 6 inches.
