SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES
THURSDAY, APRIL 24, 2025, at 3:30 p.m.
CALL TO ORDER — Chairperson Brink called the meeting to order at 3:33 p.m. in the Council
Chambers Conference Room.
ROLL CALL OF COMMISSIONERS
PRESENT: Burton Brink, Vivien Watts, Gary Brewer, Robert Miller, Lisa Walton, Uyen
Wong
ABSENT: Sheryl Hunter
It was the consensus of the Commission that Commissioner Hunter be excused from the
meeting.
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION FROM STAFF REGARDING AGENDA ITEMS
Staff Liaison Bruno confirmed that the Commission was scheduled to conduct community
outreach at the Concerts and Movies in the Park event at City Hall on Thursday, June 26, and
the Patriotic Festival on Saturday, June 28. The Commission also expressed their desire to hold
their next meeting immediately before the event on June 26 to thank outgoing Commissioners
Brink, Miller, and Hunter.

2. CONSENT CALENDAR
a. Approve the Meeting Minutes of February 13 2025.
It was moved by Commissioner Brewer, seconded by Commissioner Wong, and carried
on a roll call vote to approve the minutes.
AYES: Brewer, Wong, Brink, Miller, Watts, and Walton
NOES: None
ABSENT: Hunter
3. REPORT FROM COMMISSIONERS - None
4. REGULAR ITEMS
a. Conduct Final Judging for the 2025 Spring Home Awards.
A total of 33 properties were evaluated by the Commission. The following 16 properties
were selected to receive a 2025 Spring Home Award:
