subject property is proposing to build a new, two-story residence subject to the City’s
Single- Family Architectural Design Review process. You have the opportunity to
comment on the project prior to the City making a decision on the project described
below:
A. Categorical Exemption per Section 15303(a) from the California
Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) for the new construction of one single-
family dwelling; and
B. Single-Family Design Review No. SFADR No. 25-05
Project Description: The project includes a new 3,898 square foot, two-story, Modern
-style single-family residence with an attached 461 square foot two-car garage and a
95 square foot front porch. The project also includes a 663 square foot attached
Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) which is not subject to the City’s Single Family
Architectural Design Review process.
Lot Size: 9,252 square feet
New Building Size (excluding the garage): 3,898 square feet
Floor Area Ratio Proposed: 3,980 square feet (43%)
Floor Area Ratio Allowed: 4,163 square feet (45%)
Comment Period: Friday, September 12, 2025 to Friday, September 26, 2025 at
Notice of Pending Decision—SFADR No. 25-05
