NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council will hold a public hearing for a Temporary
Use Permit application, as described below. The application includes the following:
A. A Categorical Exemption from CEQA Pursuant to Section 15304(e) of the CEQA
Guidelines pertaining to a temporary use having no permanent effect on the
environment ; and
B. Temporary Use Permit No. TUP 25-11
Project Description: A Temporary Use Permit to allow Social House Holidays LLC, to host
Enchant Christmas Light Maze and Market in the south parking lot of Santa Anita Park. The
event will run from November 21, 2025 through December 28, 2025, from 4:30 PM to 11:30
PM, and will feature holiday activities such as ice skating, an ice slide, miniature golf, live
performances, and merchandise, food, and drinks.

Persons wishing to comment on the project and/or environmental documents may do so at the public hearing or by submitting written statements to Planning Services prior to
the September 16, 2025 hearing. This notice was posted on the City’s website, at the City Clerk’s Office, the City Council Chambers, and the Arcadia Public Library, and mailed on
Thursday, September 4, 2025. The staff report for this project will be available on the City’s website at www.ArcadiaCA.gov after 4:30 PM on Friday, September 12, 2025. For more
information you may also visit the City’s website at www.ArcadiaCA.gov/noticesanddecisions. City Hall will be closed on Friday, September 5, 2025.
Per Government Code Section 65009 – If you challenge this project in court or in administrative hearing, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else
raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the City of Arcadia, or prior to the public hearing.
