City Council Chambers Conference Room ORAL COMMUNICATIONS AND ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: COMMITTEE MEMBERS PRESENT: COMM. DEV. DIV. REPRESENTATIVE: Kruckeberg, Penman, Pantile The applicant is requesting a Modification to maintain the existing 11' -6" street-side yard setback in lieu of 20'- 0" required to convert the existing 90 square -foot breezeway into livable space that is currently located between the detached garage and house (AMC Sec.9251.2.3.1). The Rancho Santa Anita (Lower Rancho) Association's Architectural Review Board has reviewed and approved the architectural design of the addition. The applicants are requesting a Modification to allow a 7' -0" to 11' -0" easterly side yard setback in lieu of 12' -0" required for a new 695 square foot, one -story addition at the rear of the existing residence (AMC Sec. 9251.2.3). The Rancho Santa Anita (Lower Rancho) Association's Architectural Review Board has reviewed and approved the architectural design of the addition. The applicant is requesting a Modification to allow a 51'- 6" front yard setback in lieu of 60' -0" required for a new 221 square -foot, front covered porch (AMC Sec. 9252.2.2). The Highland Oaks Homeowners' Association's Architectural Review Board has reviewed and approved the architectural design (Craftsman style) of the front covered porch. There is a five (5) working day appeal period. Appeals are to be filed by 5:30 p.m. on August 4, 2010. Any writings or documents provided to a majority of the Modification Committee members regarding any item on this agenda will be made available for public inspection in the Planning Services office at Arcadia City Hall, 240 W.
