HomeMy WebLinkAboutNoticeNotice of Pending Decision - MUP 25-14 NOTICE OF PENDING DECISION IS HEREBY GIVEN that the tenant of the subject property is requesting a Minor Use Permit to operate a yoga and Pilates studio. You have the opportunity to provide comments prior to the City making a decision on the request provided below: A. Categorical Exemption per Section 15301 from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) for the use of an existing facility, such as the existing tenant space in an existing multitenant commercial building; and B. Minor Use Permit No. MUP 25-14 Request: A Minor Use Permit to allow the operation of a yoga and Pilates studio within an approximately 2,900-square-foot tenant space located at 118 E. Live Oak Avenue in an existing commercial building. The studio will provide low-impact wellness activities including yoga, Pilates, stretching, breathwork, and rehabilitation-focused movement. Classes will be conducted by one instructor and will accommodate small groups of up to six (6) students, as well as private one-on-one sessions. Approximately four (4) to six (6) classes will be held per day. Staffing will typically consist of one (1) instructor on-site, with an occasional assistant present during private sessions only, for a maximum of three (3) staff members on-site at any one time. The proposed hours of operation are Monday through Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Comment Period: March 4, 2026 to March 18, 2026 at 5:30 PM Project Location: 118 E.
