HomeMy WebLinkAboutNoticeNOTICE OF PENDING DECISION IS HEREBY GIVEN that the owner of the subject property is
proposing to build a new 25-unit multi-family project that is subject to the City’s Objective Design
Standards and Development Standards. You have the opportunity to comment on the project prior to
the City making a decision on the project described below:
A. Categorical Exemption per Section 15332 from the California Environmental Quality Act
(CEQA) for an In-fill Development Project; and
B. Amendment to Multiple-Family Design Review No. MFADR No. 25-03 (SB 330)
Project Description: The project was originally approved for 24 units and previously noticed from May 1, 2025 through May 15, 2025. The current proposal adds one additional unit, increasing the total number of units from 24 to 25. The additional unit will be accommodated within the existing floor area of the previously approved project and does not result in any substantial changes to the overall development. The project will continue to consist of three (3) four-story Spanish-style buildings containing approximately 42,681 square feet of residential living area. The development will provide garage parking for the majority of units, as well as assigned surface parking spaces and one guest ADA parking space. Each unit will include private open space in the form of a balcony or rooftop deck. The project will also include two (2) Very Low Income (VLI) affordable units.
Note: This this project is only subject to the City’s Objective Design Standards and Development Standards.
The Site Plan and Design Review process, which utilizes City’s Multi-Family Design Guidelines, is not
applicable to this project. The project has been determined to comply with all applicable standards and so
comments are not sought from the public at this time. As such, this notice serves to inform the public about
the pending decision.
