This Agreement ( "Agreement ") is made and entered into this day of
y, ! 6)V_ , 1995 by and between the City of Arcadia and the County of Los
Angeles (Registrar- Recorder /County Clerk).
The County of Los Angeles ( "County ") is desirous of using Arcadia City Hall
(240 West Huntington Drive, Arcadia) as a drop -off location for precinct ballots
for the November 7, 1995 Consolidated Elections. The time of use would be from
6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
The County agrees to indemnify, hold harmless, release and defend the City,
its officers, agents and employees for any and all liability, loss, lawsuits,
claims, damages, costs, judgments and expenses (including attorney's fees and
costs of litigation) which in whole or in part result from, or arise out of any
activity or use of the City's premises or facilities related to the County's use
of City Hall for election - related activities.
Use of the City Hall facility is granted in accordance with this Agreement
and the conditions set forth in the attached August 23, 1995 request from the
County.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have caused this Agreement to be
executed and attested by their respective officers thereunto duly authorized.
