Both systems require annual licensing, cloud hosting, and maintenance fees. It is recommended that the City Council approve two Purchase Orders in Fiscal Year 2026-27: one with Oracle America for $118,000 and one with Can/Am Technologies for $59,900, for a total of $177,900 for annual software hosting and maintenance. DISCUSSION NetSuite and Teller were implemented last fiscal year to replace the City’s legacy FinancePlus system, which had been in use since 1999. These platforms support essential Finance, Purchasing, and Human Resources functions, including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budget preparation, general ledger, cashiering, and financial reporting. Annual hosting and maintenance fees fund cloud hosting services, ongoing product enhancements, security updates, and program improvements, along with phone and web-based technical support.
