NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission will hold a public hearing
for the project described below. The project includes the following:
A.A Categorical Exemption from CEQA Pursuant to Section 15301(a) of the
CEQA Guidelines pertaining to the use of an existing facility; and
B.Conditional Use Permit No. CUP 26-04 and Planning CommissionAdministrative Modification No. PC AM 26-03
Project Description: The Applicant is requesting approval of a med spa offering non -invasive cosmetic and aesthetic personal services, with accessory facial, head, and shoulder massage, within an existing commercial tenant space located at 9 Las Tunas Drive (dba: Nishimula Beauty Med Spa). The proposed hours of operation are 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., seven days per week. The request also includes approval of a parking modification to allow 42 on-site parking spaces where 61 spaces are required by the Arcadia Development Code for the three -tenant commercial center.
