SUBJECT: APPROVE FINAL MAP NO. 71365 FOR A FIVE -UNIT RESIDENTIAL
CONDOMINIUM SUBDIVISION AT 728 W. HUNTINGTON DRIVE
Recommended Action: Approve
SUMMARY
Tentative maps and final maps are required for all subdivisions that result in five or more parcels
or condominium units. In accordance with Arcadia Municipal Code Section 9116.3, the City
Council shall approve a final map if it conforms to all the requirements of the subdivision
regulations of the Municipal Code and the State Subdivision Map Act. It is recommended that
the City Council approve Final Map No. 71365 for a five -unit residential condominium
subdivision at 728 W. Huntington Drive.
DISCUSSION
Tract Map No. 71365 is categorically exempt from environmental review pursuant to Section
15315 of the Guidelines for the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) as a minor land
division in an urbanized area. The Planning Commission affirmed this finding and conditionally
approved Tentative Map No. 71365 at its regular meeting on July 27, 2010.
Final Map No. 71365 has been reviewed by the Los Angeles County Department of Public
Works and the appropriate City Departments. The map has been found to be in substantial
compliance with the tentative map as conditionally approved by the Planning Commission on
July 27, 2010, and is in compliance with the subdivision regulations of the Municipal Code and
the State Subdivision Map Act.
RECOMMENDATION
That the City Council approve Final Map No. 71365 for a five -unit condominium
subdivision at 728 W. Huntington Drive.
