CONDUITS IN FLOOR SLABS ABOVE GRADE IN MASONRY ORCONCRETE WALLS, OR EXPOSED OVERHEAD SHALL BE EMT. CONDUITS IN WOODSTUD WALLS OR FOR FINAL CONNECTION TO MOTORS OR MOVING OR VIBRATINGEQUIPMENT SHALL BE FLEXIBLE CONDUIT AT 75°C.
4. ORDINANCES AND REGULATIONS THE ENTIRE INSTALLATION SHALL MEET ALL THE REQUIREMENTS OF ALL LEGALLYCONSTITUTED AUTHORITIES HAVING JURISDICTION INCLUDING STATE ANDMUNICIPAL BUILDING AND ELECTRICAL ORDINANCES. ALL MATERIALS ANDWORKMANSHIP SHALL CONFORM TO THE REGULATION OF THE NATIONAL BOARDOF FIRE UNDERWRITERS FOR ELECTRICAL WIRING AND APPARATUS AND ALLMATERIALS SHALL BE LISTED BY THE UNDERWRITERS LABORATORIES, INC. ASINSPECTED AND APPROVED. OBTAIN AND PAT FOR ALL PERMITS ANDINSPECTIONS WHICH ARE REQUIRED FOR THE ELECTRICAL WORK BY LEGALLYCONSTITUTED AUTHORITIES HAVING JURISDICTION INCLUDING PERMITS TO CROSSPUBLIC PROPERTY.
5. CLEAN-UP LEAVE ALL PARTS OF THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM CLEAN INCLUDING PANELS,SWITCHBOARDS, FIXTURES, LAMPS, CONDUITS, ETC.
6. GUARANTEE IN ADDITION TO OTHER GUARANTEE REQUIRED ALL MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENTPROVIDED AND INSTALLED UNDER THIS DIVISION OF THE SPECIFICATIONS SHALLBE GUARANTEED BY THE CONTRACTOR FOR A PERIOD OF ONE YEAR FROM THEDATE OF ACCEPTANCE OF THE WORK BY THE OWNER. GENERAL ELECTRICAL DEMOLITION NOTES
1. ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR (E.C.) SHALL REMOVE ALL LIGHT FIXTURES ASINDICATED ON DRAWINGS. IF ANY LIGHT FIXTURE BALLASTS ARE FOUND TOCONTAIN PCB'S THE ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR SHALL REMOVE BALLAST FROMLIGHT FIXTURES AND DISPOSE OF IN APPROVED DISPOSALCONTAINERS PROVIDED BY THE OWNER. THE OWNER SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FORPROPER DISPOSAL PER LOCAL, STATE AND FEDERALREGULATIONS AND PAY FOR ALL ASSOCIATED COSTS OF DISPOSAL.
2. E.C. SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR DISPOSAL OF REMAINING LUMINARE PARTS &ANY NON-PCB FIXTURES PER LOCAL, STATE, AND FEDERAL LAWS AND PAY FORALL ASSOCIATED COSTS OF DISPOSAL.
3. E.C. SHALL DISCONNECT AND REMOVE ALL ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT, (WHICHINCLUDES BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO DEVICES, FIXTURES,WIRING (CIRCUITRY), CABLING, CONDUIT, ETC.), AS DESCRIBEDAND SHALL GIVE THE OWNER AN OPPORTUNITY TO KEEP DEMOLISHEDELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT PRIOR TO THEM BEING DISCARDED.
4. E.C. SHALL SAFELY DISCONNECT, REMOVE CONDUIT AND WIRES CONNECTEDTO THE ELECTRICAL DEVICES THAT ARE AFFECTED BY THE REMODEL, ANDENSURE CIRCUIT CONTINUITY TO EXISTING ELECTRICAL DEVICES THAT ARE TOREMAIN.
PROVIDE (1) 1/2" C.O. FOR POWER. RUN CONDUIT PARALLEL ANDPERPENDICULAR TO NEAREST STRUCTURAL MEMBER.

This acknowledgement by Landlorddoes not constitute an assumption of responsibility by Landlord for theaccuracy or sufficiency of Tenant’s drawings as intended for construction orpermitting, nor act to substitute Landlord’s approval of Tenant’s FinalWorking Drawings. The sole purpose of this stamp is to expedite Tenant’spermitting efforts, and in no way supersedes any provision of Tenant’sLease. It is the responsibility of the Tenant, Tenant’s Consultants, andTenant’s General Contractor to field verify all site conditions to ensure thework represented herein, satisfactorily meets Landlord’s design criteria andthe requirements of all local, state, and Federal building codes, laws, acts,rules, regulations, ordinances, permitting requirements, inspections, andreviews, including but not limited to the American’s with Disabilities Act, andFire Life Safety.
